Five Wrangell Middle School wrestlers place in state tournament; one returns home as first-place state champion

Eighth grader Arabella Nore surprised herself while wrestling on the mat during the 49th Annual Tanana Individual Wrestling Tournament. She pinned her opponent in the final, even though she was losing by one in the third round, ultimately leading her to return back to Wrangell as a first-place state champion.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat dazzles the stage this weekend in Wrangell

The Wrangell Theatre Company cast and crew gather in a large room in Wrangell’s Nolan Center, including myself. We’re at it again with performance art. We’re going over one of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Tim Rice’s acts in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It’s a few days before the actual show and we’re making sure the tech crew and actors are in sync.
