With communication difficulties that Wrangell has been experiencing over the last few days, the city misread the reporting that was received from the State Public Health official. The state was reporting that some individuals had been released from isolation and that there were 11 active COVID cases on Thursday, December 2. There were NO new cases reported on Thursday, December 2, 2021. The City apologizes for the incorrect report. Wrangell’s current known case count is 11.
