Wrangell police made arrests after conducting drug searches at two Wrangell locations this morning.
The searches occurred around 8 a.m.
Wrangell Police Chief Gene Meek said they have two search warrants, one for a home near the library on Second Street and the other for a home on Zimovia Avenue. He said authorities have been searching through both households for evidence.
Meek said, “We have all of the people who are targeted in the search warrant detained right now.”
He said one more person connected to the incident might show up at the residence on Second St., but it’s still unclear.
Police have not released the names of the individuals arrested. This is a developing story.
