For decades in Wrangell, it’s been a holiday tradition. On Dec. 22, people warmed up, or got a little cold, and watched lit up boats that floated on by the island along the Zimovia Strait. The captains blared music while people on the boats saw many lit up houses along the coast. Other groups of people gathered on a dock to watch the spectacle. KSTK’s Colette Czarnecki hopped on the Rainforest Islander to experience what the parade is all about. She sends this audio postcard.
