Arizona-based blues artist Leon J — an inductee to the National Heritage Foundation Blues Hall of Fame — and Wrangellite Kirk Garbisch talk with KSTK host Sage Smiley about blues music history, how J and Garbisch met, and play a few tunes in the KSTK studio.

Leon J will perform a Mississippi Delta Americana Music History Showcase, featuring Garbisch and his harmonica, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 1 at Wrangell’s Nolan Center.

They’ll also perform at 9 p.m. Friday, July 30 at Rayme’s Bar and on Saturday, July 31 at 9 p.m. at the Totem Bar in Wrangell.
