Wrangell residents can sign up to run for local office until August 31.
There are seven positions up for election in total.
Those include the mayor’s office, three assembly seats, a school board seat, and two port commissioners, one of which is a full term, and one of which is an unexpired two years.
The municipal election is October 6.
Anyone interested in running can file with the Borough Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
