On Friday, June 12 the Wrangell Unified Command was notified by the State of Alaska of a third coronavirus case in Wrangell. The patient is a contact of the first positive case in Wrangell. Health officials will continue investigating the case and conduct contact tracing.
Continued adherence to virus preventive practices is recommended. Wash hands for at least 20 seconds, stay 6 feet from others, if you can’t stay 6 feet from others, wear a a mask, limit exposure to others as much as possible. If you’re sick, stay home and consider calling your health care provider.
