Talk on the Rock is KSTK’s live call-in show. Every Tuesday at 1pm we welcome a local guest to discuss events and topics of interest to our little island town. For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Lucy Robinson with Wrangell’s Parks and Recreation. Lucy discussed what her crew has been up to over the summer and plans for the fall. And there are a ton of activities for both kids and adults. Parks and Rec will continue youth basketball this fall, with the addition of an introductory camp to teach kids the fundamentals of the sport. Adults can get together for a number of sports. Lucy’s pretty pumped about pickleball.
