Talk on the Rock is KSTK’s live call-in show. Every Tuesday at 1pm we welcome a local guest to discuss events and topics of interest to our little island town. For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Martha Pearson with the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium, or SEARHC. She gave us the run down on what to expect at Wrangell’s upcoming health fair. Local organizations of all kinds will have information available, as well as numerous folks from SEARHC representing a variety of health resources.
Martha also said that blood draws are a little different this year. SEARHC has partnered with Alaska Health Fair, INC. to provide more options for your blood draw. You can view a list of various blood screenings and price points at https://alaskahealthfair.org/ .
The fair is 8AM to noon this Saturday April 6 at the Nolan Center.
