For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Tis Peterman. Tis is the coordinator for the Southeast Alaska Indigenous Transboundary Commission. Tis’s discusses what advocates are doing to protect foreign mine disasters from impacting watersheds, nearby and afar. And she says tribes and first nations are leading that effort across Alaska and British Columbia.
