For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Maleah Wenzel. Maleah came into the studio to talk about resources for those in Wrangell who are dealing with trauma. She is from Wrangell and currently studies psychology with a focus in childhood trauma at Dartmouth in New Hampshire. She’s here for the winter working with BRAVE (Building Respect and Valuing Everyone). She’s hosting a resilience fair in Wrangell on October 9th from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Nolan Center. Organizations from in and outside of the community will be there to offer services that support families with any number of concerns.
