Talk on the Rock is KSTK’s live call-in show. Every Tuesday at 1pm we welcome a local guest to discuss events and topics of interest to our little island town. For today’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Carol Rushmore, the economic development director at the city, and Marjy Wood of the Stikine River Jetboat Association. The topic was tourism, and our guests gave us a sense of what kinds of cruise ships we’re seeing in town and how that impacts our local economy. Marjy said the Wrangell tourist is a bit of an adventurer looking for an authentic Southeast experience.
