Republican Dan Sullivan is running against Democratic incumbent Mark Begich for U.S. Senator.
Sullivan is the former Alaska Department of Natural Resources commissioner. Before that, he was the state attorney general.
Sullivan was campaigning in Wrangell recently and discussed topics that are big in Southeast Alaska.
The general election is Nov. 4.
