According to the Wrangell Borough Clerk, 510 votes were cast. There are 96 total absentee votes left to count. The Canvass Board will meet Thursday Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. in Council Chambers to count the final ballots and decide whether or not to count four ballots in question. The Borough Assembly is expected to certify the results of the election during a special meeting Monday Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m.
