WRANGELL It wasn't Christmas, but it was close enough as Wrangellites were out and about, last Saturday, trying to get the jump on the best deals possible. The day is known as Tax Free Day where shoppers can enjoy the luxury of buying goods and supplies minus the seven percent city tax.
