WRANGELL It's been a little over a month since Francisco Sanchez took over as Interim Wrangell District Ranger. Sanchez comes to the district after spending time in his native New Mexico, Georgia, and Petersburg. He temporarily replaces Mark Hummel, who left in June to become Deputy Supervisor for the Superior National Forest in Minnesota. KSTK's Tony Gorman had a chance to talk to Sanchez about the issues facing the Wrangell Ranger District.
