Joe Viechnicki
PETERSBURG, AK (2010-07-12) Residents near some of the lands included in the legislation say they are not happy with the latest revision of the Sealaska lands bill and say they still don’t feel like their concerns are being heard. Senator Lisa Murkowski released proposed changes to Senate Bill 881 earlier this month and said the legislation was still a work in progress. But opponents still want the senator to withdraw the legislation, despite the changes.
