Pt. 2 of 2: Sealaska bill opposition focuses on environment, access
Ed Ronco
SITKA, ALASKA (2010-03-13) Sitkans proved to be just as divided as other communities over a Sealaska Corp. lands selection bill now in committee in the US Senate. At a packed hearing in Sitka's Centennial Hall last Friday (03-11-10), Sitkans on both sides of the issue shared their views for almost four hours. In this second of two stories, KCAW's Ed Ronco provides a look at the testimony from those opposed to the bill.
