Vibrant sunset colors blanket the skies above the Wrangell Narrows and the mouth of Petersburg Creek in the fall of 2009. Supporters of a electrical power line to Kake are looking at several options for crossing these water bodies between Mitkof and Kupreanof Islands.
PETERSBURG, AK (2010-02-08) Supporters of a proposed electrical line from Petersburg to Kake say they’re ready to start pre-construction work and environmental review on two potential routes. Southeast Conference, a regional economic development organization, just released an updated study and cost estimates for the proposed transmission line.
