It’s a drizzly Sunday afternoon in Wrangell. But the weather doesn’t match the energy in the airport as parents and community members chat, anxiously waiting for their cross country high school champions to exit the plane. It’s the first time in history that the girls’ team won state. The Wrangell Wolves competed in the Division III state meet in Palmer on Oct. 4. Following the girls, the boys won second.

Episode 73: Wrangell's Snow Goose Writer fellows talked with KSTK's Colette Czarnecki (another Snow Goose fellow) about the program that began in March. Vivian Prescott organized the fellowship and seven fellows met monthly to learn and advance their writing. Fellows Bonnie Demerjian, Sandy Churchill, Cathy Gross and Jami Catterson, along with organizer Vivian Prescott attended this interview. Additionally, they shared some of their writing they worked on since the spring.

Armstrong says the financial wellness class is for anyone in any type of financial stage. She also talked about the upcoming Business Basic Workshop for small business owners or those aspiring to be. Additionally, there's another class that will be offered on building wealth strategies. Those interested in the last course had to of previously taken Financial Wellness.
